April Newsletter

Dear members

After a very successful pantomime, I am pleased to share with you all that we raised an incredible £503 for the Alexander Devine children’s hospice. Thank you to everyone for helping to make this happen. We have received a lovely letter of thanks from the charity, attached to this email for you to read.

The Forum committee have been busy looking at scripts, speaking to potential directors & planning ahead for 2019 & 2020 productions.

We have received a great variety of scripts & I am pleased to say that our next production will be ‘Wandering Through La Mancha, a Quixotic Tale’.  With support & project funding provided by the European Commission about the story of Don Quixote, we will have a preview/read through this exciting script on Wednesday 17th April.

Auditions will be after the Easter bank holiday weekend, dates to follow.  Rehearsals commence on Monday 20th May and then on Thursdays, which is a slight change to our usual Monday & Wednesday routine, for this production only.  Performances will be in the evening of 4, 5 & 6 July at Bourne End Community Centre theatre.

Watch this space for a possible autumn production & of course, details to follow of our annual pantomime.

Our very own Wendy Keeble will be singing with the Wycombe Philharmonic Choir next Saturday, 13 April.

Hope to see many of you at next weeks preview & reading for Don Quixote.

Kind regards
